- Review geological interpretations, models and studies in support of exploration investment proposals.
- Ensure high quality geological analysis by the teams, and compliance and consistency with company system standards. Be responsible for the exploration peer review process.
- Stimulate the creation of ideas around current and future exploration activities.
- Mentor and develop G&G staff, regarding technical competence and broader relationship management skills.
- Provide management support of policy and process review to driving improvements and efficiencies.
- Provide support to the NV and development geosciences teams to ensure consistent high quality work.
- Manage external consultants in respect of portfolio assessments.
- Ongoing development of current staff. Improving relationships between different teams across the region.
- Support the company with annual corporate goals in respect of exploration KPI’s.
