HSE Systems Lead



  • Guarantee the continuous improvement of the Company HSE Management System and compliance with the applicable HSE legislation;
  • Ensure the implementation of the HSE Management System within the entire organization
  • Promote awareness across the company organization on the HSE Management System;
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Company HSE Management System in accordance with applicable policies, standards and legislation, organizational assets and existing operating procedures;
  • Promote monitoring activities of the HSE Management System effectiveness;
  • Liaise with Certification bodies in order to ensure OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 compliance;
  • Liaise with the Procurement Function to define criteria for supplier and sub-contractor HSE qualification, selection and assessment;
  • Liaise with HR Function to identify personnel HSE training needs and develop specific HSE training programs;
  • Monitor the updating status of the Company HSE document system and provide for new Standards and procedures development;
  • Design and plan new HSE awareness initiatives across the organisation;
  • Plan and lead the company HSE audits program;
  • Monitor the evolution of HSE Legislation and supply consultancy to senior management; Contribute to Company HSE external communication reports development;
  • Lead HSE statistical analysis and report results to senior management
  • Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior within his/her technical capabilities.



  • ​Higher education;                                           
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar position within Oil and gas industry;
  • Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent);
  • Capability to develop HSE plans and perform relevant economic evaluation of HSE plans / HSE services / HSE activities
  • Knowledge of audit techniques and capability to conduct HSE / safety / environmental inspections in order to supervise the implementation of specific procedures on site;
  • Knowledge of local HSE legislation and main technical rules with focus especially on safety issues;
  • Knowledge of main important international standards on HSE management system (e.g. ISO 14001 OHSAS 18001). Knowledge of company management system Initiatives on new HSE objectives
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
